Central Park, New York

Central Park

Today I had the pleasure of spending a day in Central Park with friends. It was an amazing experience and we had so much fun! From exploring trails to picnicking, there’s something for everyone at this iconic New York park.
We started off our morning by renting bikes from one of the nearby bike rental shops and taking a ride around some of the scenic paths within Central Park. We were able to take in all that nature has to offer while getting some exercise along the way - it was truly breathtaking! After biking, we decided to stop for lunch at one of many food carts located throughout Central Park where we indulged on delicious street food like pretzels and hot dogs (yum!).
After lunch, my friends went on an adventure through Strawberry Fields – a memorial dedicated to John Lennon – as well as Belvedere Castle which overlooks Turtle Pond. The view from up top was absolutely stunning; it felt like being transported into another world entirely! To end our day trip, we stopped by Bethesda Terrace which is home to both Angel Fountain and Bethesda Arcade - perfect spots for picturesque photos or just relaxing after a long day outdoors.
Overall, today spent in Central Park with my friends will be remembered forever; between its beautiful scenery & endless activities available there really is something special about this park that can't be found anywhere else!
